Chapter History

In the Summer of 2018 Sorors Telisca Penn, Saidae Brown, and Tasha Gray of the Xi Beta Chapter decided it was time to spread the mission of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Incorporated around the Charlotte Metro area. It was a tough decision for the trio to leave the Xi Beta Chapter anchored in Greensboro, NC  but they all felt Charlotte needed a greater presence of Theta Nu Women.

On September 8th, 2018 Soror Telisca Penn hosted a Butterfly Potluck to invite the Sisters of the Charlotte Metro area to discuss the possibility of starting the Charlotte Metro Graduate, Alumni, and Professional (GAP) Kaleidoscope of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Incorporated.  Sorors Telisca Penn, Saidae Brown, and Tasha Gray came together to form the new kaleidoscope. The Charlotte Metro GAP Kaleidoscope was recognized by the National Organization on October 12, 2018.

The dedication and determination of Sorors Telisca Penn, Saidae Brown, Tasha Gray, Kristen Parker, and Alonda Wylie were recognized by the National Organization and the Xi Phi GAP Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority Incorporated was founded on June 13, 2019.

The Xi Phi Chapter is anchored in Charlotte, NC but serves Sisters living in the surrounding Metropolitan area and Upstate South Carolina.
